On my nails today is the beautiful Teddy Girl from Butter London. This is one of the most opaque light pink polishes I have ever used, even after just one coat! I LOVE IT!
I adore the packaging of Butter London! The small square bottle features a sleek black top, which is removed to reveal the brush handle. It’s easy to find in my nail polish collection and looks cute even sitting out on my vanity.
However, the consistency of Teddy Girl can be somewhat difficult to master. It can be quite thick if you pick up too much or it can be streaky if you pick up too little. It took me a few uses, but I’ve now become accustomed to its formula.
The photos above feature two coats, even though this polish is opaque after one application I like to apply a second to conceal any streaks.
In terms of lasting power, I get a full three days of out my manicure before I notice any major chipping.
Before I found this brand, I had purchased a ton of other baby pink polishes hoping for similar results. Instead, I was often left with a barely there look and a manicure that was hardly noticeable…even after three coats!
If you’re fed with light pinks that hardly show up on your nails, I highly suggest Teddy Girl. Retailing for $14, while this polish is expensive, it’s also one of the nicest quality and most opaque polishes I’ve used. A close second is Essie, which is a great option for nearly half the price. You can check out both brands at ULTA and ULTA.com.
