MAC: Cremesheen Glass

L-R: Deelight, Just Superb & Right Image

If you’re a fan of creamy, pigmented lip glosses that don’t feel sticky or gooey then I highly suggest MACs Cremesheen Glass formula. They smell amazing, glide on smooth and provide a hydrating opaque finish.

Since discovering these last year I have yet to reach for a lipglass — I just have no patience for sticky glosses anymore.

Retaling for $18.50, these creamy glosses are formulated to have the sheen-filled nature of a Cremesheen Lipstick and the shine of a lipglass. Their consistency is soft, non-drying and never sticky. You can use them over top your favorite lipstick or all on their own.

When it comes to lip products, I usually play it safe and go with more natural, neutral toned colors. The first shade pictured is Deelight, a beautiful mid-toned neutral pink. This is a tiny bit darker than my natural lipcolor and looks great with any eye look.

The second shade, Just Superb, is very similar to Deelight but just a tiny bit lighter. Described as a dirty neutral pink this is the perfect “your lips, but better” gloss.

The final color, Right Image, is my HG lip gloss. This blue-based pink looks perfect all year round, especially in the summer. It’s blue undertones make your teeth look whiter and brightens up your entire face. The color looks much more shocking in the tube than it does on the lips. It’s the perfect understated barbie pink lip! This is my second tube and I’ll probably need another very soon!

In terms of wear, these last about as long as any other lip gloss so you’ll need to reapply throughout the day. If you’re looking for a lipglass that has the pigmentation of a lipstick, but the creamy consistency of a gloss then I highly suggest these Cremesheen Glasses. All three of these shades are part of the permanent line and can be purchased at MAC stores, counters or online for $18.50.

Let me know what your favorite glosses are!

XOXO,

Julie
